The participation of the veterinarians Calixto Moraleda and Francisco Naranjo was decisive in Manchega Sheep selection and Manchego Cheese characterization, from the positions they held at the Administration in the province of Ciudad Real by the middle of last century. More than a dozen technical Works on Manchega Sheep and Cheese, diverse formative activities, livestock fairs, the Manchego Herd creation. First specic contest for Manchego Cheese (Herencia, 1945), and even an innovative initiative as the production of the documentary “The Manchego Cheese” (1947), all of then were works projected and executed by Moraleda and Naranjo.
